The Texas Workforce Commission projects a 25 percent growth in engineering jobs statewide in the next decade. In response to this anticipated growth, ACC and Texas A&M created the Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academy at ACC. Supported by Chevron, the Academy provides students an opportunity to pursue their engineering degree in a co-enrollment program between Texas A&M and ACC. ACC President/CEO, Dr. Richard M. Rhodes, discusses the innovative academy with guests Dr. David Fonken, ACC Science, Engineering & Math Dean, Shana Shaw,Engineering Professor and Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academy Leading Professor, and ACC Engineering student, Jud Joyner.
