England Band Leader

Now listen to this story about why we always believe!! "It's coming home!" John Hemmingham please take a bow.   The World Cup is not just the biggest #football show on earth; it is also the biggest and largest entertainment event both on and off the field (stadium). With the 32 teams competing in #Qatar, there will be at least 32 different bands providing music and dance to support their favorite teams.   For #England, the England Band, who have been one of the mainstays of the team since 1996, following the Three-Lions everywhere and anywhere since then, will be live and direct in Qatar.  The Sheffield-based band is led by John Hemmingham, our next guest on In The Game.  John, who is also the band's lead trumpet player, first started playing music football in 1993 with Sheffield Wednesday fans.  He has been playing and supporting the Three Lions at tournaments around the world for over 25 years now, besides playing at other sporting events including the Olympics and boxing matches.  With special thanks to our team Zein and Elizabeth at the Soutien Group, your continued support is just amazing.
