England Bowlers Dominate Pakistan | Belfast News

England’s bowlers dominated Pakistan at Edgbaston, dismissing them for just 133 as Josh Tongue starred with four wickets and Ollie Robinson and Jofra Archer added three each. Pakistan’s lineup changes didn’t help, as their top five all fell for single digits — a first in an England Test innings. Emilio Gay and Harry Brook then powered England to 156 for four, giving them a 23-run lead. Robinson reached 100 Test wickets with a stellar average, while Brook passed 1,000 Test runs. Despite Joe Root’s 10th lbw dismissal this year, England’s seam attack exploited the pitch brilliantly, setting up a strong position for Day 2.
