England Bowlers Dominate Pakistan | Belfast News

England’s bowlers delivered a masterclass on day one, dismantling Pakistan for just 133 as Josh Tongue starred with four wickets and Ollie Robinson and Jofra Archer added three each. Overcast skies and floodlights aided the pacers’ movement, while Pakistan’s top order collapsed — four batsmen dismissed for single digits, including debutant Saim Ayub and captain Babar Azam. Saud Shakeel’s gritty 43 couldn’t save them as Archer sealed the innings. England, meanwhile, slumped to 35 for two after losing Duckett and Cox early, but still hold a commanding lead heading into day two. Pakistan must regroup fast if they hope to turn things around.
