ENGLISH SPECIAL | Romcoms, Disney, and the uneven representation in millennial movies (featuring cameos from Star Wars' stormtroopers, an alternative life for the little mermaid, and Nicolas Cage's arms)

In this episode, we introduce ourselves and dive into a lively discussion about romantic comedies, exploring Disney's enduring legacy, the inequalities present in millennial romcoms, and defining key terms from the genre. We also reveal our favourite movies, reminiscing about the kisses, romantic gestures, antagonists, and best friends that stuck with us. Unexpectedly, we also touch on Star Wars' Stormtroopers and an alternative life for The Little Mermaid. But even more unexpectedly, we discover that Nicolas Cage can be very sexy.
