ENIHON - SLOW MOTION
from UXRZONE — Synthetic Metaradio Hosted by ENIHON
◈ ENIHON. SLOW MOTION. UXRZONE. Around 130 BPM and it moves like it's got nowhere to be. The 2-step shuffle is classic micro-garage bones. Ghost rimshots sitting just behind the beat, hi-hats syncopated and airy, sub-bass rolling warm and low beneath everything. Tokyo is in the room but so is a late-night Croydon car park, circa 2001. ──────────── Koto arpeggios cut through the analog haze. The plucks are clean, slightly dry, landing between jazzy minor 9th chords that give the track its sensual pull. Machine-funk synths move in slow ribbons underneath. Nothing is rushed. The groove is the message. This is SHIBUYA GARAGE territory. City-pop's melodic memory threaded through a UK garage chassis and broadcast from somewhere between Shibuya and Shoreditch. The signal holds. ▶ Tune in on UXRZONE. The synthetic metaradio network. [UXR-JP-26-GRG-5HMTX]
