Adoption means being loved, accepted and brought into a family. Through Jesus, those who trust Him become God's children, and the Holy Spirit opens their hearts to know God personally as Father. For Christians, His care appears in ordinary gifts and even in hardship, which trains His children rather than punishing sins already dealt with at the cross.
