“Send Coach John a message”I came across something that really hit home for me. This post from Gary Hensel (@gary_hensel) reminded me that “Somebody didn’t wake up today, but you did. That’s enough reason to stop complaining, and that’s enough to be thankful for. Never let your troubles blind you to your daily blessings.”  Recently I went to a funeral service for a longtime family friend, finding out a former student of mine recently passed away and most recently a neighbor and good friends of ours - lost a family member very quickly. I know it happens every day and that it is a true part of life.  But, I needed a reminder about the “me complaining” part. Many times I lose sight of the reality of life and what others are going through.
