Ensuring Evangelistic Expansion
from Trinity Church of Portland Sermons
Spirit Empowered Mission, Part 19, from Acts 6:1-7. An inevitable messiness always accompanies a gospel ministry that is eternally meaningful. Frequently the course of gospel ministry doesn’t run smoothly. Such was the case facing the early church. In chapter six of Acts we see a congregational dilemma leading to an interdependent solution, followed by an evangelistic consequence. All this proves that impediments to growth caused by growth can become occasions for growth when priorities are protected and ministry is shared.
