Luke 18:9-30 While there is most definitely a future aspect to the return of King Jesus and the arrival of His kingdom, that doesn’t mean there is no present tense reality to it. Entry into God’s Kingdom is Bible talk for eternal life / salvation language. So the language of Jesus answering the question about when His Kingdom will come has everything to do with you and with me. The only way we can be prepared to meet King Jesus when He returns on that future day is by entering His Kingdom now, today, in the present. Using a parable, a truth from children, and an interaction with a Rich Ruler, Jesus teaches us that entry into God’s Kingdom is available to all who come to Him like a child.
