Welcome to another chapter of my Thrifting Audio Diary. Each week I invite some friends of mine out on my Thrifting Adventures. We spend the day scavenging, bring our loot back to the studio, then tell you about our haul. This week I'm joined by Kelsey Holmberg, from The Millennial Hit List. We talk about my favorite cool sites. This Week's Thrifty Finds / Discussion Topics : - PENNYSAVIN' We take a look at Pittsburgh's Classified Ads, to see what people are buying and selling. - Stegosaurus. Wants plastic or rubber dinosaurs. - Find Your Soulmate on Megamates. - NBA2k13 - Doctor Dreadful Drain-a-vein set (Tyco, 1996) - Horror VHS Haul. Friday the 13th Part 1, Part 2, Jason Takes Manhattan, Sorority Girls Massacre, The St. Valentine's Day Massacre - FIND IT, WATCH IT (FiWi) We play VHS tapes that we found while thrifting, live on the show. - Diddy Kong Racing Promotional VHS (Nintendo, 1997) - THE ROACH COACH We answer some fan some submitted emails about our thrifting habits. - Have we found any secret notes in any of our thrift finds? - A listener promised to give clothes to a friend but now wants to keep the clothes, due to their value. What should they do? Special thanks to : BLUFFS for "Alternate Reality", the theme to our show for many reasons.
