Greetings greetings. Welcome to another episode of truth to power. I have your host Tires to rail make night and tonight I want to talk about something Things have been getting under my skin a little bit. So I want to talk about it tonight.
I want to talk about Other races heaven. I just even other races other people having this entitlement as it relates to black man As it relates to black man a lot of people have this entitlement having title issues Am I most humble opinion? Now, why do I see this I was Having a conversation one day with this woman who's shell and name was and She told me about this being called a pick the bear some study called pick the bear where And I don't know if I just don't before but this is just one part of it well. She was saying that Women if they were in a forest or something like that or they were in the woods And they saw a bear in a man or a black man rather in their case that they would end up picking a bear because they would be safer And I'm like so you think that you would be safer With a creature.
It's not like you. I want to that meriny for a minute. No, how silly that sounds It sounded silly for a couple of reasons because I'm going and so You think they're just gonna be safe on it. What the bad is kids you what the bears supposed to kill you and I'm like What does it mean to the whole purpose of choosing a bear?
No, but the bear supposed to be a bear But you're not supposed to Hurt me and I'm like what makes you think that I mean is gonna hurt you but rather than delving to any type of pair of trauma or Any type of issues with men in her life? I just I just I just didn't feel like it because it was just Very all just very just contradictory and just all over the place really because I'm going and she didn't then she says well, what is the man doing in the arm in the woods? I'm like what is your what is your head doing in the woods? You know those type of questions like they just don't make sense and These will be the same people on the same woman that would say when somebody's open their heads We're all the men at the protectors.
We're all the men to protect us and a lot of people need to let go of their past trauma and their past um Situations, I want to say that pair of situations in which they have dealt with men or people in their lives that most of them have picked Now if it's a family member that you have trauma with you didn't pick that person if it's somebody to trust it There was part of family you didn't pick that person being like but if it's a man To spend in your life you have to take accountability for who you are around you who you learn who you learn your space who you trust in your space? How much self-love do you have how much self-love didn't you have in a pace? You have to answer those questions and that's part of taking accountability and being responsible for yourself also self-love How much of love how much of respect do you have? Do you have enough self-love?
Do you have enough self-respect to trust another person that they're not going to try to hurt you? But even more so than that as I move forward with this particular conversation here and which made me Want to do this episode in the gym. I love the gym one thing I don't like about the gym is people People in the gym do not like giving you your space and I but I've noticed that just not in the gym But just in general they do not like giving black men space personal space and They'll ask a question like oh man like I try to speak to you over there. Why are you being rude and I'm definitely trying to Hold myself back from either hurting people or cussing the hell out because You just saw me put 300 pounds on my back and while I'll put 300 pounds on my back You've finally ruled that I did that you tried interrupt me right on swipe 300 pounds on my back You found the rule that I didn't stop but I was going to come speak to you and talk to you I'm about to tell you something that most people don't tell you but it should be obvious Nobody is entitled to being nice to you, but you're not entitled to anybody being nice to you You're not entitled to anyone speaking to you.
You are not entitled to anybody even respecting you If they choose to do it fine, but they don't think I don't feel like you should have you should feel any type of way about that Now you should feel some type of weight about somebody disrespecting you or trying to hurt you without any type of cause And you should be ready. You should have enough self-loaves to defend yourself And be prepared to take dress measures if you do Right because everybody loves the world. I love this call Everybody everybody don't about a lot of worry until the enemy is at the gate when the enemy is at the gate Oh, what a worry is that you should come protect us? but a lot of people got their bag man a lot of people got a lot of entitlement issues they Really just feel like you owe them something now the election is for seven days away As I've transitioned into this one to this statement.
It's all gonna make sense But the election is seven days away And we got people doing their dandas to give black men on board to vote black men You got a falling line black man. You got to do this black man No, black man has to leave the calls in breaking down a democratic party Because black men are tired of them overlooking black causes but asking for black support So you do something so much people think they're entitled to you know people think you're entitled to your support people think they're entitled to your vote People think that they're entitled to the financial security all types of things They're not grateful they can do it after a while They really do That's why they try to talk the black man over they do black man falling line and go vote And we need our black man to go vote No, you don't need black man to lead and it become more powerful but a lot of people not just by people are afraid of black man becoming even there's becoming equal because they look at the landscape of things and they think themselves If these black men were able to compete with those even with all the obstacles even with all the real learning gentrification displacement even with all the social engineering the economic deprivation even with all these things that we place in their way and they are still able to compete with us Just imagine What they would be able to do if they want equal footing with us just imagine The so-called model minorities just plant this pain away into college Come on now. They're paying away into ugly schools. Come on.
Come on Let's be honest But they want to you. Oh pick yourself up by your bootstrap. My people it doesn't matter Who wins this week? Black empowerment wins either way Black empowerment wins either way Regardless of wins, you know, I could we don't keep on pushing our issues and today me that needs now brother Jason Blake said that he feels like He's gonna take two election cycles for the Democrats to start seeing But I'm just not getting the picture for them to lose two election cycles.
I Agree I do think though. I do think you have Kamala loses this election By the landslide now by a little bit by a landslide And the overall numbers showed that black people stayed home particularly black men Then they will get it nothing that happens now that you're done They were not playing around and we mean what we say we say we mean are we gonna stand on business? Well, they get that off my chest right quick. I do have a long day ahead of me tomorrow And I want to thank you guys for that I'm afraid I got a long way ahead of me But I want to thank you guys for joining me tonight.
I just go truth the power Have a good night
