Entrepreneur Minute - Dr. Greg Little, Midlands Technical College

Backed by one of the largest appropriations in the college’s history from the South Carolina Legislature, MTC is accelerating its response to the state’s widening skills gap across high-growth industries. The investment positions the college to significantly expand the pipeline of job-ready graduates prepared to seize emerging, high-wage opportunities—including those created by Scout Motors. As the official education and training partner for the Scout Motors production center, MTC collaborated with company leaders to launch a new Electric Vehicle Engineering Technology program and strengthen four additional programs, ensuring students are equipped for the next generation of EV careers.
