from With Insights Radio and Friends... · host Iggy Garcia
OUR GUEST: Norah Bagirinka is a genocide survivor from Rwanda and a mother of three sons. Before coming to the United States, Norah worked with the International Rescue Committee as a coordinator for a program (SGBV), which aided women victims of sexual and physical violence, as well as training the judges who later heard those cases. Around the same time, Norah met journalist/film director, Kimberlee Aquaro and was persuaded to work on the film, “God Sleeps in Rwanda”, as a translator and coordinator. The film was nominated for Best Documentary-Short Form and Norah found herself walking the red carpet in Hollywood. Learn More...CLICK.
