The focus has to be outward on the people you lead and not inward on self. Team Player You need to have empathy, understanding the concerns of those whom you lead. Once your team understands why, the how becomes pretty simple. They must know the mission and fall into place. Trust is also important. It is like the glue keeping the team together. Debriefing This is a process of doing a post-mortem is important. What was done well and lessons learned for future.
