Envy

Envy lies deep within each one of us. If we are not careful we can allow this envy to destroy us. By envying others we eject God's presence from ourselves and we set up the throne of the demons within our hearts. Instead of being temples of the Light, we become temples of darkness. Let us flee from this sin and let us pray for those we envy and ask God to bless them and to help and strengthen us to resist this temptation.
