Envy is a disordered desire that leads us to resentment and anger toward God and our neighbor. It is not satisfied with simply wanting what they have, but it finds delight in depriving our neighbor of that thing. Joseph’s brothers serve as an example to us of how envy works and the damage it can do to relationships.  In the sermon, we also consider how love can help heal us from envy by reminding us of the love that is ours in Christ. ⁠⁠⁠⁠Sermon Reflection Guide
