Envy Vs Jealousy

In todays episode I am breaking down how admiration can progress overtime to hate. Exodus 20:17 says thou shall not covet, which is to yearn to posses things others have. The root cause of being envious is being dissatisfied with self. When we uncover why we feel like what we have is not good enough or why we have the constant need/want for what others have we can then feel at peace with what we already have. What do you feel when someone else gets what they want but you don’t? Promotions, a new car, a relationship, free time. (Use that question as a journal entry) Envy is the opposite of love and comparison is the thief of joy. I pray that we can recognize when we have jealous thoughts and cast them away as soon as we have them. As you grow on your journey to self,you will be free in the mind and at peace when you discover that you have all you need within yourself. I pray this message is received and encourages you to monitor your thoughts so that they may not fester into deeper negative ones. Xoxoxo
