Enzo Fernandez Transfer Drama | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez is in the spotlight as transfer drama heats up with just days left in the window—excluded from the Carabao Cup squad, sparking rumors of a potential Manchester City move. Manager Xabi Alonso insists it was a club decision to rest him for tactical reasons, not personal choice, while reports from Argentina hint at Enzo’s own request—but those claims were denied. With Chelsea’s 120M price tag and long contract still in play, the Blues hold all the leverage, especially with midfield depth like Caicedo and James. Even if Enzo departs, alternatives like Alex Scott and Lamine Camara are already in view—keeping Chelsea’s options open as the deadline looms.
