Eli Escobar interviewed Dr. Jose Romero, Director of National Center for Immunizations and Respiratory Diseases with the CDC. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends children as young as 6-months to receive a COVID-19 vaccine according to recently updated guidance. Nearly 20 million additional children now have access to safe and effective vaccination against COVID-19. As CDC continues to examine the data, COVID-19 vaccines remain the single most important tool to protect children against COVID-19 and severe illnesses.
