Eosinophilic Esophagitis, EoE with Glenn Furuta, MD (Rebroadcast S3:E14)

from Charting Pediatrics

Last week my colleague, Dr. Glenn Furuta, was named recipient of the 2021 Harry Shwachman Award by the North American Society for Pediatric GI, Hepatology and Nutrition. This is the highest honor given by NASPGHAN and is awarded to one person each year who has made outstanding lifetime achievements and contributions to the field of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. Glenn's lifelong work in the field of eosinophilic and allergic GI disorders has been a game changer for all pediatric (and adult) gastroenterologists and allergists, and he continues to be a global thought and research leader in all aspects of these disorders. In recognition of this honor, we wanted to rebroadcast my discussion with Glenn about Eosinophilic Esophagitis from Season 3 of the podcast. Congratulations Glenn!!  Do you have thoughts about today's episode or suggestions for a future topic? Write to us, [email protected]
