We celebrate International Women’s Month with an episode focusing on women in music and in culture. Looking back at women’s clothing through the ages, Marissa Jerden brings you the history of the bra, and its societal impact on women. We also bring you a look at the events in the week ahead with the community calendar by Peter Svizeny. Jake Winters brings you Snoverated; this week he reviews the film “Brother.” As always, Nick Weaver brings you the Modest Mouth Review; for today’s album, he reviews “Honeyblood,” the eponymous debut of the all-female band Honeyblood. Taking a break from pop culture, this week Jamie Halla has a special piece about Greerfest, a music festival in honor of Emma Greer DiBiase, who died from cancer the weekend of March 26th.
