Ep. 003 Black Respectability

from Woke N Broke · host Woke N Broke

Josh believes that Millennials are more focused on expressing their true identities, Dani feels that it’s her duty to encourage youth to be confident in who they are and Michael wants black leadership to advocate for all areas of blackness and not just those that are socially accepted as “normal.” This week the topic of black respectability is on the board. From what we think it is and how it impacts us today to what black leadership would be like if it didn’t exist, this conversation is not only refreshing, but much needed as well. Send your questions and input on today’s topic to [email protected] and we just may read them aloud on the show. Remember, your questions can be about literally anything, we just want to see them and offer up a few answers from differing perspectives. We will even make you anonymous to keep your situations private. Find Josh’s summer blog event “Discovering Your Path” by visiting thedreamincentive.blogspot.com
