In this episode of the Young Opportunist Podcast, we review Outliers, a famous book written by Michael Gladwell. We examine and discuss what sets the high achievers and ultra successful apart - from Bill Gates to the Beatles.  We generally assume these individuals are given a special 'gift from god' and the questions we always ask about the ultra-successful include:What kind of personal abilities do they have?What special talents or gifts were they born with?We assume the answers to these questions will quite simply explain the reason for their ability to reach the top. Gladwell challenges this mindset and argues that a person's environment and upbringing, together with personal drive and ambition affects his or her possibility and opportunity for success.
