Ep 019: Purdue Football - Recap of Iowa vs Purdue history 1910-1939

Sorry for the delay, I meant to publish this before Iowa's 20-14 win over Purdue on Saturday. In this podcast, I review the week 6 opponent Purdue and the games played from 1910 until the Nile Kinnick days in 1939. There are almost 100 games played between the two teams, and Iowa is 40-50-3 all-time. I did forgot to mention 3 early games in the history, each with Daily Iowan article links but no game summaries: 1911: 11-0 win at home 1915: 19-13 loss on the road 1916: 24-6 win at home under coach Howard Jones The Hawks lost 20 straight games from 1961 to 1980, and Iowa won 9 straight from 1983-1991.
