Ep 032 Jax Hollow
from The Universal Hitchhiker Hosted by Jeff the Hitchhiker
If there was ever an artist that I wanted you to really listen to...Jax Hollow would be it. Jax Hollow dances around every side of rock. Blues, southern, and straight rock. "Say My Name" even hints a dash of punk rock. In December of 2020 'Underdog Anthems' was released. Every song on the album has it's own identity and some form of truth. This is the song writing that only comes around every so often. Unapologetic hard guitar driven anthems that will keep you wanting more. Each song has some form of innocence, growth, or affirmation that there is still a lot of great music to be discovered. This episode was something really special for me. I love this album from the first song to the last. I appreciate every minute we got to talk. If you only listen to the first five minutes of this episode, I pray that at the very least, the intro makes you buy the album.
