Ep 040: Corn in All Forms - A Recent Trade Mission with the USMEF

This episode of Kernels is a good reminder that we support corn in all forms. Including the animals who eat that corn. Karyn Foreman, a grower from Goshen, Ohio and a Corn Marketing Program Board of Directors member, joins us on this episode of Kernels to talk about her recent trade mission in Japan and South Korea! She went with the United States Meat Export Federation (USMEF) and a small group of other agriculturalists. The purpose of the mission was to teach the Asian countries about the benefits of United States beef and introduce them tot he people who grow it. Marlene Eick is the Director of Marketing & Communications and Jessy Woodworth is the Manager of Communications at Ohio Corn & Wheat. Kernels is a production of Ohio Corn & Wheat and hosts conversations about the corn and wheat industry in Ohio, their respective checkoff programs, and the work the Grower's Association is doing in on behalf of Ohio grain farmers.
