Mental health is a sensitive topic that not everyone is comfortable with. But, we need to talk about it. On this episode of Kernels, Marlene Eick, Director of Marketing & Communications at Ohio Corn & Wheat, talks with Nathan Brown, a farmer in Hillsboro, Ohio. Nathan is an outspoken advocate for mental health in agriculture and knows the struggles his fellow producers deal with first-hand. Right now there is a state-wide survey available to growers through The Ohio State College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences. This survey is completely anonymous and confidential.
