Ep. 043 - Sorcerer
from The Vertical Viewing Podcast Hosted by Scott Willson
For December 8th, 2015, Mike and Scott meet in the Nostromo Lounge and discuss the locally produced, undead private eye CW series iZOMBIE, an absolutely disastrous 70mm screening of THE HATEFUL EIGHT roadshow at the Crest theatre in Los Angeles and what this means for the future of film, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's foolhardy attempt at what barely resembles a French accent in the Philippe Petite biopic THE WALK, we giggle with pure joy over the red band trailer for THE NICE GUYS from buddy cop movie master Shane Black, Scott unexpectedly loses his footing and falls headlong into a bottomless pit of silky smooth FALLOUT 4 mods, and much, much more before our featured review of the cult film masterpiece SORCERER from legendary director William Friedkin. So gather all the roughnecks just 'passing through', rig up an explosive device using string, socks and rocks, secure your fake Latin American identity, and let's see if we can deliver this highly volatile nitro glycerin before each of our checkered criminal pasts catch up with us.
