EP #05 Lillian Söderman | On Belonging and the Power of Collective Healing in Council

from Raising Wholeness Podcast · host Lillian Söderman

Check out this beautiful exploration into council, collective healing, belonging, connecting to our roots, and embracing the shadow. Council creates space for practicing speaking from the heart, opening to spontaneity, and cultivating deep listening. Through council, we hear stories of the collective consciousness of the group, and each story has insights into our own healing. Lillian has used this practice with kids, women's groups, prisons, and corporate America, the benefits of this practice can be applied to anyone looking to build community. Lillian Söderman has spent over a decade facilitating circles and is certified in a process called Council. She left her career as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor to pursue the practice. Her facilitation experience ranges from the general population to corporations to prisons to schools. When she’s not practicing Council, Lillian is a musician and plays shows frequently around Colorado.Resources From the Podcast:Lillian's Circle Work Online Council Training starts in March Lillian's Music Ways of CouncilPelvic floor / Feminine Work / Connecting to your Womb - Wild Feminine: Finding Power, Spirit & Joy in the Female Body by Tami Lynn KentPersonal recommendation : Pussy: A Reclamation, Regena Thomashauer Lillian's headshots by: Jessica MacCall IG: @littlegreeneyes | Support the showWelcome to the Raising Wholeness podcast. I’m Jenn Reilly, your host and guide on a journey of deepening into the full complexity and simplicity of our human experience. As a coach, mentor, and advocate for women’s rights, I’m passionate about supporting women—especially those navigating the shifts of motherhood and leadership—on their path to embodied wholeness.Through my own transformative journey, catalyzed by early motherhood and postpartum, I’ve learned that true wholeness means embracing every part of ourselves: the strengths, the challenges, and everything in between. It’s about honoring our cycles, aligning with our unique design, and cultivating self-trust and support as we move through life.On this podcast, we explore the deep and sometimes messy human experience—tending to our bodies, minds, and spirits in a way that is conscious, compassionate, and attuned. Whether you’re seeking to heal generational patterns, deepen your leadership, or find more balance in your life, Raising Wholeness is a space where we can evolve together. If you’re ready to move from surviving to thriving, to lead from a place of wholeness, and to model this for the next generation, you’re in the right place.Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m honored to walk alongside you.Book a Free Discovery Call...
