Mine does. There's a number of cultural references to New York that may come to mind. But whatever you think of, I'm willing to bet the first thing that comes to mind is related to New York City . . . not New York state. What is the rest of New York like beyond Manhattan? How do New Yorkers feel about the stereotypes and the tendency of American pop culture to reduce their entire state to a single city?
