Her early years were spent as a bass guitar player in the Brisbane band scene during the 1980’s, playing in bands such as ‘Side by Side’, ‘Pink Fit’, ‘Medusa’, ‘Mad Dolls’, and ‘Let’s Go’. Fast forward a few years and she’s spent time as a motorcycle instructor, a postie, and a train driver, only of the very few in Queensland at the time.
