Maj Thomas Schueman is a Marine Corps infantry officer and deployed as a platoon commander with Kilo Company of 3rd Battalion 5th Marine Regiment during their hard-fought 2010 deployment to the Sangin Valley. 3/5 lost 25 men killed and had almost 200 wounded during the deployment.Maj. Schueman details the deployment in-depth and also discusses his infantry officer training prior to being assigned to 3/5. Today, Maj.
