Ep 082: Is Hell Actually Real?

Is hell a real place, or is it just symbolic? How could a loving God allow anyone to spend eternity there? And why did Jesus talk about hell so often? In this episode, we take an honest look at one of the Bible's most sobering topics. Together, we study what Scripture teaches about hell, God's justice, His love, and His desire for people to come to repentance. We also wrestle with difficult questions about eternity and discuss how the reality of hell should shape the way Christians live and share the gospel. Our prayer is that this conversation doesn't leave you with fear alone, but with a greater appreciation for the grace of God, the hope found in Jesus Christ, and the urgency of the gospel. Topics discussed: hell, eternity, heaven and hell, God's justice, God's love, salvation, gospel, repentance, Jesus, eternal life.
