After recovering from the shock and trauma of her husband pleading guilty to sexually assaulting her 14-year-old daughter, she faces treachery of her own biological mother and stepfather, attempting to use her fractured family as a means of profit. It appears the grandparents are attempted to profit from their gramdchildren by not just adopting them, but getting licensed as foster parents. Essentially being paid by the state to provide for the grandkids. Greed, once again, keeps children from a loving home and mother.
