In this episode, Hannah Kincaid, Senior Editor of MOTHER EARTH NEWS and Managing Editor of Heirloom Gardener, sits down with Joanne Bauman and Dawn Combs to discuss what grows in their tea garden and why they love it! Enjoy learning about the different medicinal properties of these plants and how to use them in your tea. Dawn Combs is an ethnobotanist with more than 20 years of experience in her field. She is the owner of the herbal health farm Mockingbird Meadows, is a contributor for Mother Earth Living, and the author of Heal Local: 20 Essential Herbs for Do-it-Yourself Home Health Care and Conceiving Healthy Babies: An Herbal Guide to Support Preconception, Pregnancy, and Lactation.    Joanne Bauman, a Kansas herbalist, shares the gift of the green nations (healing food and medicine plants) in the Wise Woman Tradition of healing. Bauman (of Prairie Magic Herbals) teaches herb classes, grows and wildcrafts medicine plants, creates herbal preparations, and does consultations.
