Ep. 09: LCDTownHall - Big Club Vs. Small Club panel w/ Scotty Benningfield and Jon Lilly

from Lowest Common Denominator Podcast · host LCD Podcast

Y'all ever wanted to know all sorts of things about clubs, yet never had the right and proper opportunity to ask? Think you wanted to be in a club, but wasn't sure if you were a good fit - or even why you should? Well, here's your chance to hear those answers! Straight from the hills and hollers of Eastern Kentucky, we bring you the first ever #LCDTownHall episode where we get a respected member of one of the Big Three (Scotty "Billet" Benningfield from Severed Ties Ohio) and pair him off with an equally respected time-traveler and small club guy, Imperishable Jon Lilly from Smooth Impressions CC out of Beckley, WV. We bring you this Battle Royal of accents to de-mystify the thought process when it comes to all things car and truck club related and whether or not it's for you! Follow along as Shay and myself moderate this discussion (and add in inappropriate comments) and find out what it takes to be in either of these clubs, why the respective members gravitated towards it and hear some of their best club road stories! In the wrap for this edition, listen as LCD commits to hosting the Friday Night festivities for the Revolution Minitruck Show in Middlesboro, KY (Meat-wieners and Mountain Holler for all!) and since this episode is club-centric, we find ourselves inspired and send out an open invitation for NEW REGIONAL CLUBS to join us on the next #LCD13MinOfFame! (Legit- if you have started a new club in the last year or so, and happen to be in the mountains, reach out to us - we want to high-light you and your club!) The first half of this show is very educational and thought-provoking; the second half we mostly make weird noises and phallus jokes! Enjoy! Thanks again for allowing the #LCDPodcast to be YOUR #VoiceOfTheLowLife!
