Welcome to the How to Become a Musician podcast! Krissyis a singer/songwriter working to release her music and interviewing other indie artists from around the world. The goal of this new podcast is to share insights, ideas, and strategies for indie artists who are just getting started or want to grow. This episode covers a variety of careers in the music industry,from teaching to songwriting to performing. It provides an intro of what will be covered in the podcast, from social media to songwriting. Host Krissy is a script editor with a background in marketing and editorial roles, with a degree in communication and certifications in social media and SEO, and experience in education, including articles covering music theory. On the music side, she sings, writes songs, plays guitar, (some piano), and produces her songs in the DAW. Weekly episodes will cover marketing tips, songwriting, socialmedia, and other music topics.
