EP. 1: Welcome to Sana Sana the Podcast!
from Sana Sana · host Eileen Lopez-Tome
I know that I owe so much to the doctors and treatment that healed me after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. They deserve all my respect and admiration for making me better again. However, throughout all the medication and treatments, I still felt alone. I needed someone I could emotionally connect to, someone who could teach me how to face this disease and still feel like myself. I needed a helping hand, and I didn’t find one until after I started recovering. I never want you to go through that alone, which is why I am offering you the support I needed back then that I didn’t have at the time.My name is Eileen Tome Lopez, your go-to cancer recovery coach. I am a first-generation Cuban-American woman, eldest daughter, wife, working mother of five, and breast cancer survivor. I lead my cancer recovery services, the EcoSystem of Healing™️, with faith, authenticity, and a fierce commitment to healing and service. Drawing from my experiences as a survivor, a public servant, and advocate, I guide Hispanic and Latina women to embrace their stories and create a life designed for their wants and needs - not dictated by culture or circumstance. In this week’s episode, we're going to talk about my cancer recovery journey, important lessons I’ve learned along the way, and the resources I can give you during this time, whether you're in the middle of your recovery journey or you’re in remission. Sana Sana is dedicated to supporting Hispanic and Latina breast cancer survivors who have always been the “strong ones” and now feel lost in their identity after cancer diagnosis. I will share the foundation of my EcoSystem of Healing™️ coaching process, which I use to help my clients, old and new, restore trust in their bodies, release perfectionism, advocate for themselves, and live from a place of healing and peace rather than survival. Tune in for all this and more as we go through this journey together.
