Dance for Smita Shastri is both a passion and a mission. As a dancer, she has constantly explored and endeavored to preserve Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dances in their authentic glory. As a Guru, she nurtured her students and shared her expertise to empower them to carry this rich cultural heritage further for the coming generations.Smita Shastri went on to win awards and laurels at National and International levels. As a performer par excellence endowed with humility in her pursuit to serve her arts she won hearts of not just her audiences but also her peers and dance critics.She established the Nartan School of Classical Dances in 1971. She has strongly believed that achieving excellence in anything takes discipline and dedication. You can also find us on https://www.eplog.media નૃત્ય એ સ્મિતા શાસ્ત્રી નું જીવનધેય્ય અને જીવનલક્ષ્ય છે.  વિખ્યાત નૃત્યશૈલી કુચીપુડીને ગુજરાત સહિત વિશ્વભરમાં લોકપ્રિય બનાવવામાં સ્મિતાબહેનનું મૂલ્યવાન પ્રદાન છે. ૧૯૬૫થી તેમણે  કુચીપુડી નૃત્યની તાલીમ મેળવી હતી. ૧૯૭૧માં તેમણે નૃત્યભારતી સંસ્થાની સ્થાપના કરી અને તેનાં માધ્યમથી સંખ્યાબંધ કાર્યક્રમો દેશ અને વિદેશ માં યોજવા ઉપરાંત અનેક વિદ્યાર્થીઓને કુચીપુડી નૃત્યની તાલીમ આપી. દર્પણ એકેડેમીમાં તેમણે ગુરુ પાણીકરજી પાસે ભરતનાટ્યમની તાલીમ મેળવી. ત્યારબાદ દક્ષિણ ભારતના વિધ્વાન નૃત્યકાર કીટપ્પા પિલ્લાઈ પાસેથી પધ્ધતિસરનું શિક્ષણ મેળવ્યું.સ્મિતાબહેને દુનિયાભરમાં કાર્યક્રમો રજૂ કર્યા છે અને પ્રેક્ષકો તથા વિવેચકો નાં દિલ જીત્યાં છે. તેઓ દ્રઢ પણે માને છે કે શ્રેષ્ઠતા ને પામવા શિસ્ત અને સમર્પણ ખૂબજ જરૂરી છે.    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
