Norma’s knowledge and experience with Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) began with the personal care of her mother, Lillian, who had LBD for many years. Lil inspired Norma to create the Lewy Body Dementia Resource Center (LBDRC). She formed the center to raise awareness of LBD and to help caregivers locate doctors, nurses’ assistants, and hospice agencies – as well as the smaller problems of knowing which local surgical supply store can help or where the nearest veterans’ organization is located.
