Mark Wharton, the now Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, had a whirlwind of a career! He spent most of his professional time as an expert in fundraising, some of which was spent at UNLV as the Associate Athletic Director for Development. It was there that Mark and Jerry worked closely together and while he describes his time there as short but sweet, he and Jerry remain good friends to this day.
