Clare Lindop is one of Australia’s finest ever jockeys, 1432 career race wins and the first female Australian jockey to compete in the Melbourne Cup. It was a joy to hear about Clare’s amazing career and how she became a jockey as well as her love for horses at a young age. She also spoke about the ups and downs of her career and her reason for moving to Adelaide, her charity ambassador involvement, thrill of competing in the Cup and the banter that Clare had with fellow jockeys.
