101 Dalmatians (1961) Family Movie Review | Ep. 101

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.Episode 101 had to be 101 Dalmatians — and we couldn't be more excited about it. On this nostalgic family movie review, Isaac and Seth bring real film analysis and honest movie reviews to the 1961 Disney classic, one of the most beloved kids movies and children's films of its era, to find out if it still holds up after 65 years. Does it still bark up the right tree, or has it lost its spots? They dig into the surprisingly heavy plot, the unique animation style that still turns heads today, and what makes Cruella De Vil one of Disney's most chilling villains ever — someone so evil, they even compare her to Scar from The Lion King.Plus — fun facts that will surprise you (the dogs were actually light gray, not white!), Seth's trivia question about Radio City Music Hall, the Kid Test with Isaac's four kids who all had wildly different reactions, and of course the big rating.A perfect, wholesome follow-up to our milestone 100th episode.
