Ep 101 - Bamjimba Part 4: Strokes, El Fata and Conflict Minerals

from The Amish Inquisition Podcast · host The Amish Inquisition

Hiya Eavesdroppers, this week we welcome back Jim Bamber to the podcast. Since our last podcast with Jim, he sadly suffered from a mini stroke and is currently in the process of recuperating. I'm sure you will all join us in wishing him a full and speedy recovery. In this episode we go through Jim's recovery from addiction and how he turned his life around. Its an inspiration to hear how someone can go from rock bottom, go back to school and spend the rest of his life giving back. Through personally caring for his family, working with addicted young offenders and rape victims, raising money for child soldiers, Palestinian refugee and FGM charities, Jim is living proof of how one individual can make an impact and be a force for good in this crazy world. Robert Baden-Powell once said, "Try and leave this world a little better than you found it". And as Errol Brown once said, "I believe in miracles...........".
