EP. 102: Jess de Groot — "Just Keep Learning and Keep Moving Forward."

Jess is an artist, businesswoman, and an auto body shop painter. At the age of 33, Jess and her then partner decided to get divorced. Months after that, she was diagnosed with cancer, but that didn't stop Jess from living her life. At age 34, she decided that it was the perfect time to change careers and learn more about the automotive trades and industry, and auto refinishing. With zero experience in shop life, with tools, or fixing things, Jess took a nine-month foundation course where she learned the basics and in-shop training. Jess just got her red seal certification and is now working on her first-ever project, a 1989 Chevy G20.
