One of the biggest thrills in recruiting is to experience an official visit.  There's something about knowing that your athlete is valuable enough for a school to spend money on him or her. Any visit, official or unofficial, is the best way to get to know a school, program and coach as you narrow down your choices.  There's no substitute for a face-to-face encounter.
