Ep. 103: Consume Less Create More ft. Cam Smith

from Nock Performance

Joined this week by Cam Smith. Cam was brought to my attention by some photography friends of mine. Impressed w/ his work, I invited Cam on the podcast for a discussion.  Cam went to college at USC where he played inside backer for the Trojans. In 2019 Cam was drafted in the 5th round of the NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings. While competing for a spot on the 53 man roster, Cam explains how he might be one of the few people in the world who's life was saved by Covid. During routine testing Cam was advised that his heart was 3x the size of a normal human heart causing him to need open heart surgery. Once surgery was complete, Cam received a sign from God telling him that it was time for him to move on from the game he loved. Cam has a great story & an impressive perspective on life. I have no doubt you will take something from this conversation. Enjoy. Follow Cam's Journey: @_killacam & @_theomnicollective  Interested in my private coaching & FREE workouts? Screen Guild Theatre Digitally Restored zhaoguiwen This is the BEST Quality set of Screen Guild Theatre shows currently available ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!! Yet it is not the most Complete.Nicholas Hans Gary:I have spent many years tracking down these shows from MANY difference sources (Official Cassette, LP Vinyl, Digital etc) and enhancing shows that are of lower caliber quality so as to try to remove muffling, overblown sharp highs, enhance vocals, tighten bass, clean audio, remove hiss, pops, normalize volume level throughout the entire episode etc. On every episode I also normalized the audio levels of audience clapping throughout the episode and loud music portions to be very close to that of the actual performance instead of 4-5 times the volume.ALL episodes in this collection are of what I consider Very Good audio quality, I have done my very best to find ALL available good q The Jack Benny Program Old Tiime zhouyingfu The Jack Benny Program, which starred no less than Jack Benny himself, was a comedy series than went on-air for more than 30 years in both radio and television. It premiered on NBC Blue on May 2, 1932, and had its last episode on CBS radio on May 22, 1955, producing a total of 931 episodes. The TV adaptation, which was just a continuation of the radio program, was aired from 1950 to 1965.Apart from lead character Jack Benny, other radio stars included in the show were Eddie Anderson, Don Wilson, Dennis Day, Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Mel Blanc, and many more. The show made use of a show-within-format, where each character's role was no other than themselves. It would start with a performance from the orchestra, or sometimes a joke between Benny and Wilson. This was followed by gags between Benny and the rest of the cast, usually about the day's news, or about the characters themselves, most especially something about Benny's life.
