The economy is nowhere as strong as Team Trump contends, A recent column reveals major problems that demand attention by the Federal Reserve. Other factors include: Will Trump tax cuts do what is needed in time? Or do tariffs add to the hurt? The GOP better figure out how to improve voter enthusiasm in one year.The food stamps program is becoming a symbol of this government shutdown. But all is not well with food stamps, as Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins revealed in a recent interview. Food stamps need reformed to root out fraud.Dick Cheney, former vice president, secretary of defense, and member of the U.S. House, died this week at age 84.President Trump has annmounced he intends to take action against Nigeria for its persecution of Christians in the West African nation. We will see what Team Trump does in response to the genocide and persecution of Christians there. Pastor Josh Howerton in Dallas recently displayed vulnerability with his congregation about whether he has properly prepared them for persecution. Could American Christ followers respond to persecution like Nigerian Christians do? This is a public episode.
