Dale Mahfood, a native-born Jamaican, is the author and independent publisher of "When Trees Fall," the first in a series of Caribbean historical fiction family sagas called Wood and Water. He also published his mother’s poetic memoir titled, "A Simple Smile," through his own publishing imprint, Rockstone Publishing House. Besides writing and publishing his own work, he has advised other authors through the publishing process—from manuscript to market.
